Lake Ugii to Khorgo-Terkh National Park via Karakorum. We visit the legendary Erdene Zuu monastery, museum of Karakorum and Zay Bandida monastery museum in Tsetserleg. Visit the Chuluut river canyon and the Sacred Tree on the way. B+L+D

Khorgo terkh national park to Tsenkher hot springs. We will enjoy a free day in picturesque Khorgo-Terkh national park, taking a short hike to Khorgo volcano & leisure activities at lake Terkh. Then on day 6 we drive to the Tsenkher hot springs, enjoy spa bathing etc. Ger camp. B+L+D

Tsenkher hot spas to Hustai national park via Mongol Els sand dunes. We will visit the spectacular combination of sand dunes, rocky mountains and green meadows in Elsen Tasarkhai, take a short camel ride. Then on Day 8 we travel to Hustai national park and view the Takhi wild horses and other wildlife. B+L+D

Hustai to Gun-Galuut via Giant Genghis Monument. We drive to amazing Gun-Galuut nature reserve by the legendary Kherlen river with a stop at Giant Genghis Monument Complex. Enjoy a relaxing day in the serenity of Gun-Galuut taking some soft adventure activities such as horse riding, fishing, swimming, biking, archery etc. B+L+D

Gun-Galuut to Ulaanbaatar. We drive backto Ulaanbaatar, transfer to hotel. Visit the Palace Museum of Bogd Khaan and Buddha Park. Free time for optional shopping etc. Folk concert & Farewell dinner. B+L+D

The city of Karakorum: In 1220 great Chinggis Khaan declared it as the capital city of his vast Empire. Today there are many interesting sites left to visit; the legendary turtle rock sculptures, Buddhist stupas and the ruins of this once great city to name a few. Erdenezuu - the 1st Buddhist monastery in Mongolia was established in 1586. Today Erdenezuu monastery still shows its glory with collections of many priceless religious objects and incredibly beautiful Mongolian arts. It has a massive square wall, 420 meters in length each side, 108 Stupas & 17 temples.

Khorgo-Terkh National Park: Surrounded by extinct volcanoes at an altitude of 2,060 m area of 61 sq. km the spectacular geology of Khorgo volcano lying in the east of Terkhiin Tsagaan lake certainly adds to the pleasure of visiting Arkhangai aimag. Near the crater there are dozens of small caverns with stalactites hanging from the ceiling and walls. In the middle of the lake there is a volcanic island covered with bird nests made of the fragrant grass Sam khan. Horseback riding, fishing, bird watching, and other activities are all possible here.

Hustai National Park is the place where the wild Takhi- Przewalski horses have lived peacefully since 1993 when they were reintroduced to their native land Mongolia. Here we are able to see and photograph these beautiful wild horses at pasture and Red Deer, Wolf, Asian Marmot, various species of waterfawls and prey birds etc., as well.

Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve is one of the most popular nature reserves of Mongolia. The Reserve is truly the marvelous combination of high mountains, colorful flowers, pretty lakes, rivers and wetlands with its famous rare species. It is a home to endangered wild Mountain sheep-Argali the Big Horns, White-napped crane, Siberian White Crane, Hooded Crane and the rare Black stork, Asian heron, Whooper swan, Swan Goose and so on. Over 200 Argali sheep inhabit peacefully in Gun-Galuut now. Tourists visiting the Nature Reserve have the opportunities to do watching and taking photos of the Endangered species, rafting and fishing in the lakes and rivers, camping in a beautiful and peaceful nature, visiting nomadic family, riding horse, yak and camel and introducing with traditional nomadic lifestyle and culture.
