Dear Selena Travel,
Our recent "The Gobi & Karakorum Explorer" tour with you was excellent, everything exceeded our expectations! It was a super trip in our lives and we loved our Mongolia holiday so much. Our guide Joe was kind, well organised, accurate and informative, polite and caring and always provided us with timely information. And our driver Jack is super, very friendly, professional and always on time.
We are wild travellers, having been to many places in the world - but Mongolia is still truly unspoiled and uncontaminated. Selena Travel's services were perfect right from the very first email. We would like to thank Selena Travel, our guide and our driver for having made this Mongolia experience a truly beautiful one with so many wonderful memories.

Karen and friends from the USA, July 2012
Dear Zola,
Having arrived back home, I cannot thank you enough for arranging our unbelievable journeys in Mongolia! Please know that we were thrilled with each adventure, and I am hopeful that I can return again, as soon as next summer.
We have memories as expansive as the lands we saw. In the Gobi, Bayarmaa was a lovely guide -- we especially appreciated her expertise when visiting the Flaming Cliffs. She also showed us nesting lammergeiers -- they are HUGE, and we were so grateful that she spotted them! Driver "Hulday" (pardon my spelling) was terrific. His Furgon was as clean as could be, and by taking dozens of photos through the crystal-clear windows, I have many wonderful sights of the nomads, dunes, animals, birds, and vast areas of that region. I was thrilled that my small luggage fit easily on the EZNIS flights. We also thought that the ger camps in the Gobi were among the best that we visited.
When Ari and Otgunsuk met us in UB, we thought we had won the jackpot! Oggie was a safe, patient, and considerate driver -- outstanding skills in a city with such tremendous traffic. Ari was, by far, the most considerate, companionable, bright, humorous, and savvy of all of our guides (including the 8 more that we would meet during our tour in China). She consistently had our best interests in mind, and spoke English with a total command of the language. Ari excelled in her duties and responsibilities as our guide. She was forever patient with our many questions and photo opportunities, and made intelligent suggestions and offered assistance whenever our plans (or the weather) changed. It is only because of her intelligence and knowledge that we regard her as a "guide" because, in may ways, we left feeling as though we had made a lifelong friend. I commend her to you most highly, and thank you so much for putting us in her charge. Should you be in contact with her, please thank her for her excellent care and a bounty of incredible memories.
It was a pleasure and an honor to meet you and your mother, during the Naadam Festival. In every way, your arrangements and accommodations for our trip were perfect, and I've returned with the joy of sharing my travels with friends whom -- I hope -- will contact you in the future about their own trips. Although my friend Susan, with her group, enjoyed herself (and I thank you for making it possible for us to meet one another), I honestly believe that our little group had the best of all worlds: lovely overnight arrangements at the Bayangol and at the ger camps, spectacular good fortune in seeing more than 20 of the Takhi horses at Hustai, coming upon a local Naadam horse race and then seeing parts of the main race from the road, traveling to Tuvkhun in both hail and sunshine, enjoying the stadium festivities and getting "up close and personal" at the ankle bone shooting and archery competitions, seeing yaks/camels/sheep/goats/large birds at every turn, as well as magnificent green fields and gorgeous mountains. The skies and clouds were more magnificent than anywhere else in the world!
We were so taken with the area around Gun-Galuut! You were right -- it was a perfect place to ride horses. Most vividly, I will never forget stopping at the gate when we left and receiving a beautifully-embellished felt bag from Ariyuna, who had been so wise and helpful in locating several argali sheep during our visit. Her children are lovely. I was quite overwhelmed by her kindness and her gifts, and must ask that you please let her know how special I felt, to receive such a gift of hospitality, skill, and generosity. If I can return to Mongolia, I will travel first to Gun-Galuut and thank her again! It was an honor to have received something so meaningful and so precious. Please tell her I will never forget this.
Forgive me for rambling on and on, but I was quite taken with your lovely country! Know that we are indebted to you and Selena Travel for a fantastic trip, and I hope our paths will cross again. Should you ever need information about the United States, or a place to stay in California, do not hesitate to contact me!
Most sincerely,
Karen

Dear
Selena Travel,
Now that we are home in Thailand, we want
to thank you for all of your help in arranging our Discover
True Mongolia tour this past month. We had an absolutley
fantastic time, from beginning to end, on our recent trip
to Mongolia. Many thanks, too, go to our tour team of Joe,
Sodoo and Hoyga. We could not have been more pleased and impressed
with their constant attention to detail and comfort for their
guests. We had so many good belly laughs with our group of
travelers, tour leader and drivers; they made this trip a
dream come true. We have long wanted to go to Mongolia and
am so pleased to have seen and experienced all that we did
with Selena Travel.

Hi
Crys,
Just to let you know that we had a wonderful time during the
trip. It was a very
good horse trekking tour of getting a taste of the nomads'
lifestyle, the Mongolian horses, the horse rides and the beautiful
landscape. Complemented by the close attention given by Dorjo
the tour guide, the horseman, the medical student cook and
the retired army leutenant driver, I left Mongolia fully satisfied.
Terelj National Park was simply stunning, Gun-Galuut a sunset
was captivating. The refreshing air was filled with nothing
but sounds of bird chirping, horses galloping and sheep baaing.
Patches of the green land were flooded with arrays of colorful
flowers.
To describe the enjoyment of the trip and the beauty of Mongolia
in such a short passage does not do justice to Chinggis Khan's
homeland. The next best thing is to share my precious photos
with others in order to feel my experience. Hope to return
to the Land of blue skies soon. |

Hi
Selena Travel, I take the opportunity to repeat and underline
what we already wrote on the feedback forms at the end of
our journey, in the beginning of august:
"All of the members of the team who accompanied us on
our tour in Mongolia are amongst the most wonderful people
we ever met: apart from being highly professional, they all
became real friends, so that are Mongolian journey became
a most unique and unforgettable experience.
" Whatever we asked, whatever needed to be done, all
team members always stood ready to do more than their best
to make things go right ; their dedication was really beyond
compare.
"Thanks to all team members, we have had the opportunity
to get a really fantastic impression of your country; Mongolia
should be proud of such "ambassadors".
"All 3 drivers' skills deserve a very special mention:
had it not been to the exceptional ability, both in driving
and in mechanics, of Sodoo, Batcha and Baska, some parts of
our tour would not have been possible to make; of course,
this does not detract anything from the merits of the other
team members, each for his or her own part of the job.
Kind regards, Lieven Mariën, Belgium
on behalf of the "Cnudde party - Hilde 9 pack"

Dear
Zola,
Please accept my sincere gratitude and appreciation for your
kindness, attention and prompt professionalism in organizing
everything for me......including choosing and booking additional
hotel nights, the Naadam Festival (you were a splendid guide!)
and for contacting Nyamka of Solid Ways in my behalf to help
me purchase flights PEK-ULN. She did so promptly and with
grace and attention to my dilemma.
In one of your early emails, Zola, you stated "We will
not disappoint you". This certainly was the case! This
tour was the perfect one for me and more than exceeded my
expectations. Gorgeous sunsets, ever changing vast and beautiful
vistas, calm, peace, tranquility, a multitude of beautiful
animals and birds, gorgeous wild flowers, wonderful monasteries
and congenial, friendly, gracious staff at the ger camps,
and many activities and opportunities to learn about Mongolia
and her rich culture.
Steppe Nomads camp was the perfect setting as a last stop
before returning to UB., including the most delicious buffet
breakfast I ever had.
I felt very healthy and energized during this tour, and it
was wonderful not to have be exposed to the media....not a
care in the world.. I wish to extend a special thank you to
Jak. He was such a gentleman, an excellent and competent driver
always mindful of the safety of his passengers as well as
the care and respect of his vehicle. I am in the process of
contacting friends and acquaintances to recommend Selena Travel
and Zola, their magnificent sales manager.
Discover True Mongolia Tour tops my list of my most memorable experiences. Mongolia is
beautiful and the people so kind and welcoming! My only disappointment
was that I had to leave!
