Arrive in Mongolia
Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, meet with the guide at the airport, lunch at a local cafe. Visits to Museum of Natural History & Zaisan Memorial.

Ulaanbaatar- Gun Galuut NR
Transfer to Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve. Bird watching at the lakes Ayaga & Ikh-Gun. Wetland birds including White Naped Crane, Hooded Cranes, Whooper Swan, Swan Goose, Black Stork etc.

Gun-Galuut - Terelj National Park
Forest birds watching: Oriental Cuckoo, White-backed Woodpecker, Siberian Ruby Throat, Honey Buzzard, Hawk Owl etc.

Terelj - Hustai National Park.
Bird watching: Demoiselle Crane, Black Stork, Saker Falcon, Lesser Kestrel, Amur Falcon etc. View Przewalski wild horse aka "Takhi".

Hustai National Park - Ogii Lake.
Drving to the west. See steppe birds: Amur falcon, Kite etcand wetland birds around Borogchnii nuur lake.

Ogii Lake - Karakorum.
Karakorum was the capital city of Great Mongolian Empire. There's plenty to see and we will visit Erdene Zuu monastery that is one of the world wonderful heritages, Phallic Stone, 108 Stupas and many more.

Karakorum - Ongi monastery ruins.
Admire the nature beauty, birdwatching and see ancient burials during the tracks: Lesser Kestrel, Steppe Eagle, Golden Eagle, Isabelline Shrike, Brown Shrike, Bushchat and other common birds.

Day 8 Ongi monastery - Bayanzag.
V visit the Ongi monastery. Drive to Bayanzag dinosaur remaining land. Visit the Flamming cliffs, birdwatching and hiking in the saxaul forest. Saxaul Sparrow, Great Grey Shrike, Isabelline Shrike, Henderson's Ground Jay etc

Khongor sand dunes is the longest & most beautiful sand dunes in Mongolia and extends for 180 km. Visit the sand dune and hiking or optional camel riding on dunes. We will see Desert Warbler, Upland Bussard, Saker etc

Khongor - Gurvan Saikhan National Park
